| Ceon, a leading provider of product management and service fulfillment software for communications service providers, has announced it will be showcasing the industry’s first purpose-built product lifecycle management software at the 3GSM World Congress being held in Barcelona February 12-15, 2007.
This will be the first European demonstration of Ceon’s Product Control Center (PCC) software solution - the communication industry’s first purpose built and standards based Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software system. This solution been designed to enable service providers to quickly construct, manage and deploy a catalog of complex product offerings, and reduce time-to-market and cost-to-market for new products. Independent research has shown that operators could save millions of euros within 2-3 years by shaving just 15% off the lead-time for new product introduction by using Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.
Ceon VP Yogen Patel comments: “Increasingly, we are seeing that in today’s highly competitive market, business models need to be fast and new product ideas need to be executed in a matter of hours or days. Operators are increasingly turning to PLM systems such as Ceon’s Product Control Center to cut new product introduction lead time and cost.”
The Product Control Center will be demonstrated at 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona from 12-15 February 2007 at stand 2D29, Hall 2.
