Ceon PCC is an advanced, purpose-built, and standards-based system focused on enabling service providers to construct, manage, and deploy a layered product catalog that includes the full technical and commercial definition of products. PCC supports extended attributes, complex business rules authoring and execution, constraint processing, multi-user collaboration, entity revision management, lifecycle state management, a TMF SID-based data model, and online order configuration and price calculation support.

PCC now provides enhanced design and production time integration support. Design time integration capabilities enable loading data into PCC from external sources, allow enterprise business process management systems to retrieve, create and update PCC data, and, support creation of specialized application interfaces.

A variety of production time integration capabilities can be used by external B/OSS systems to query and retrieve product definition data that is stored in PCC. This includes supporting real-time access to product data and execution of product configuration and price quoting rules at order or fulfilment time such that queries regarding product availability and product content can be answered. PCC also provides data export and database access capabilities for extracting product data from the PCC. The integration mechanisms in PCC are based on flexible and proven technologies, such as, Web Services, Java APIs, Database Views, and SQL.
