| Ceon today announced the renewal of its contract by Mediacom for 3 additional years, extending the agreement to 2010. Ceon's service fulfillment solution was first deployed at Mediacom, the 7th largest Cable MSO in the United States, in 2005.
Mediacom Communications Corporation, which has over 1.3 million subscribers, utilizes Ceon’s Intelligent Order Manager (IOM) for service fulfillment of residential Voice over IP and High Speed Data services. IOM is integrated with other Mediacom systems including Cisco's Broadband Access Center (BAC), Sprint's VoIP web services interface, and Mediacom's billing platform.
Ceon IOM is a highly configurable, flexible, and customizable software platform with advanced order handling and workflow capabilities for VoIP, High Speed Data, and other IP-based communications services. IOM decomposes simple and bundled product orders into underlying work orders, orchestrates all provisioning activities required to turn up services, and maintains the detailed service image.
