| Highly experienced and skilled Ceon consultants with specific domain expertise in broadband and IP services delivery for Telco (wireline, wireless,VNO) and Cable operators, will work with your product marketing, OSS, IT and engineering personnel to determine specific project needs and overall functional requirements.
Service Synopsis: Ceon’s assessment service provides you with a solid foundation and understanding of the overall functional requirements and scope of the OSS and/or related service components associated with your project. The deliverables listed below will enable you to request specific solution and services pricing and related project schedules from Ceon and/or other third party firms who may be needed to support the scope of this project.
Assessment Workshop: This workshop will bring together all the relevant stakeholders associated with the project. This group usually includes product marketing, IT, engineering and specific OSS personnel who are involved with your current service delivery and management, or in the case of a new service operator, those personnel assigned to new services delivery and management. Ceon will provide templates that have been crafted and modified based on our significant experience with similar customers. We will drive the necessary detail and Manage the process to ensure quality output from this session. Assessment workshops (on customer site) typically Take between 3 and 5 business days to complete depending upon the overall scope of the envisaged project.
Deliverables: It will typically take 5 to 7 business days to draft, iterate and deliver the following documents. Again, the overall timeline for delivery is based on project scope and complexity.
- Functional Scope Document: Contains overall business requirements and system boundaries providing a solid foundation to eventually build system design documentation (used by engineering to code solution). This document will also outline external system interactions, such as, CRM, billing, soft switch, etc.
- Project Scope Document: Provides project timeline estimate, includes assumed major milestones, gating factors and project resource assumptions.
