 Ceon Intelligent Activation Server (IAS) is a platform for developing and running connectivity adapters for network devices, element management systems, application servers, and other devices. Ceon IAS has a large library of pre-built adapters, a subset of which are shown in the table below. Adapters fully automate provisioning and also include a configuration GUI and a manual provisioning GUI. IAS provides an extensive set of services to adapters, including protocol modules, event logging, reporting, and configuration. The application includes an adapter software development kit (SDK) and training programs so that service providers can easily create new adapters.
IAS is de-coupled from the request payload, which allows flexibility in format of requests sent to adapters and decreased serialization costs. IAS knows about the network element the request is for, who sent it, the priority of the request, the transaction ID, the optional order ID, the length of time the request may be queued for, and the mechanism for responding back to the client application. |
